Floor construction
Our floors represent the latest generation of multilayer floors which, with their properties, guarantee durability and longevity.
The main difference between Devetak floor and classic parquets is in the construction itself.
The construction of our floor consists of 4 layers:
- Surface protection – Rubio Monocoat oil of top quality and wax
- Lamella – a hard layer made exclusively of oak wood. This layer provides data stability and gives it a natural look and warmth to the wood.
- Multilayer core / balancing layer – Baltic waterproof birch. The highest quality raw material for the production of a balancing layer of multilayer parquets.
- Stabilizing base – stabilizing layer of homogeneous wood
The floor constructed in this way does not react to moisture and temperature changes. It does not dry out, does not spread, does not create cracks and thus retains its original appearance and beauty for a long time.
Surface treatment
By finishing the hard layer of the floor (lamellae), different effects are achieved and the desired appearance of the floor is obtained. By sanding, brushing and hand carving, we will give your floor a natural look and warmth.

As the final process of wood processing, which removes small particles from the surface, in order to achieve a smooth structure, grinding is performed. In this way, the surface of the wood is prepared for the application of varnish, paint and oil.

Brushing
By removing the soft parts of the wood, we reach the natural structure of the wood with special metal brushes, the rings are visible and the complete texture stands out. After applying the paint, the effect is more complete.

Manual carving
In order to emphasize the even more natural, rustic look of the wood, in addition to brushing, another special “relief” treatment is used, and that is hand carving. Even under the shoes, the texture can remain in the form of smaller or larger waves, which gives a completely beautiful and completely natural effect.
